I was at home Saturday morning thinking about a good friend who is stuck in another state helping his company move from almost 0 work from home, to thousands of people within a hyper-condensed timeframe.
I think it is important to say THANKS to all the IT and security people out there “burning the midnight oil” to keep their companies operational in these difficult times.
I wanted to do something to help companies that are making these big leaps to help them think though the security needs and pitfalls; even if they can’t do it until after-the-fact. I spent the better half of Saturday morning thinking back through the 20 years of corporate experiences to come up with a simple health-check organized by people/culture and technology/process controls. I asked my team and some external trusted experts for additional insights.
